A. K. Singh Joined as Indian Forest Service Officer on 06.03.1978 and he retired on 31st July, 2014 as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Chhattisgarh with the Additional Charge of Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce (T & D) Federation Limited, Raipur in the Central Govt. Pay Scale of Rs. 80,000/- fixed plus allowances which is highest for all India Services Officers in the State. He passed M.Sc. in Physics in 1974 from Lucknow University.
He has vast administrative experience of working in the field and head office in various important capacities related to human resource development, legal issues, management, development and protection of forests and trade of forest produce for 36 years.
