Professional achievements include playing an  instrumental role as first Collector of Raipur District in shaping it as a capital city of newly carved State of Chhattisgarh – and thereafter holding key positions in conceptualizing, formulating and implementing of people-centric policies for the State across key sectors such as Education, Food, Health, Agriculture, Public Works Department, Panchayat and Rural Development and Labour.
